If you’re interested in learning about immersive storytelling, check out this video series CEO Eve Weston scripted for The Look.Club. And if you’re a student (or potential student) interested in learning about VR narrative and immersive storytelling, she currently teaches at Los Angeles Film School.

TALK: How To Think About Editing Coverage of Immersive, VR and Metaverse Experiences
The arrival and adoption of virtual reality and other immersive technology (XR) is presenting new experiences across verticals. Whatever you edit—entertainment, medicine, cooking, travel—you will soon have cause to edit articles and other writing about XR. However, while we’ve long had language to discuss and analyze books and movies, narrative and visual points of view don’t describe all the experiential options and combinations presented by immersive experiences. This talk introduces vocabulary and presents resources that specifically address what’s possible in VR and the Metaverse and which will facilitate better and clearer discussion, analysis, and communication about immersive experiences.
