Human/Art/Object: An Art Experience
Human/Art/Object uses 360 video and virtual reality headsets to start a conversation about objectification, the definition of art, and what it means to be human. In phase one, Food for Thought, art gallery visitors observe a 360 camera labeled as an artwork entitled “Human.” Their reactions to this designation and contradiction are captured from the point of view of the artwork by the 360 camera. In phase two, See and Be Seen, viewers put on a VR headset and experience firsthand what it feels like to be a work of art in an art gallery, examined by visitors.
Below is the gallery label that’s on the viewer:
Thanks to BG Gallery and ABXY Gallery, I’ve had the pleasure of sharing this experience with gallery-goers in both Los Angeles and New York.
More information on artists whose work is visible in the Human/Art/Object VR experience can be found at www.bgartdealings.com.

My 360 Life
I’ve been experimenting with capturing life’s moments – apple picking, baby showers, Thanksgiving dinner – so that other people might share my experiences firsthand. The following videos are the uncut stitched footage from these experiments.
